Introduction to Jigsaw24 for Education

Apple Refresh

Jigsaw24’s refresh programme provides schools the easiest way to upgrade iPad devices that have come to the end of their school life.

Our team will arrange collection of your end-of-life devices which are carefully inspected and ‘Graded’ by a service technician and wiped clean of all data. We will then issue you with a credit note that can go towards your iPad bundles.

LGfL's Exclusive Classroom Bundles

Jigsaw24 and LGfL are working together to provide advantageous pricing for LGfL schools. Our aim is to remove the barriers that can prevent teachers from maximising the impact of iPad in their classrooms, to help with this Jigsaw24 have put together three exclusive bundles for class sets of devices for LGfL schools that address specific needs or curriculum areas. Details of the bundles can be found below:

If you have a more specific requirement than these bundles address the team will put together a bespoke package that addresses your needs.

When you get in contact with the Jigsaw24 team, they’ll talk you through the best options for the technical management of the iPads so you’re able to make use of tools such as Classroom. Setups vary depending on the age of the devices and size of the estate so the team will make sure you’re aware of the various options to achieve maximum impact in your classrooms.

To properly get the Classroom bundles setup properly you’ll need to make sure you have an Apple School Manager Account. If you don’t yet have an account, you can register for one of the links below:

Introduction to Everyone Can Code

Everyone Can Code Bring coding into your school

Apple created a comprehensive Everyone Can Code curriculum to help you teach coding to students from primary school to university. With teacher guides and lessons, you can introduce the basics on iPad, then advance to building real apps on Mac.

So, whether your students are first-time coders or aspiring app developers, you’ll have all the tools you need to teach coding in your classroom. Apple even offer App Development with Swift Certification for students who have completed App Development with Swift.

Introduction to Everyone Can Create

Everyone Can Create Find the creative genius in every student

A collection of project guides that bring creative expression to every subject.

The projects in the Everyone Can Create guides teach students to develop and communicate ideas through drawing, photography, video and music. And they help ignite creativity by giving teachers fun and meaningful ways to bring these skills into any lesson, topic or assignment.

Training for Apple

Apple Professional Learning

Training or Professional Learning underpins the success of any technology deployment. We recognise that where rollouts have failed in the past, it’s largely down to the technology not being used to its full effect in the classroom.

The Apple teacher programme

The Apple teacher programme is a free professional learning programme designed to support and celebrate educators using Apple products for teaching and learning. As an educator, you can build skills on iPad and Mac that directly apply to activities with your students, earn recognition for the new things you learn, and be rewarded for the great work you do every day.

The Leading Innovation Series for School Leaders

LGfL schools have access to Jigsaw24’s Leading Innovation framework. A series of free workshops and briefings for school leaders who wish to explore what 1:1 learning with iPad could look like their school.

Together with the Jigsaw24 Education team, you’ll discover, design and deliver a sustainable, school-wide learning environment to meet the needs and aspirations of a modern, technology-rich education organisation that supports your school vision and priorities.

We know great things can happen with iPad in the hands of pupils and teachers, but we also know it takes great planning if we’re going to maximise the impact of iPad in your classrooms. To enable this to happen for you we’ll take you through the Leading Innovation Programme, a core pathway with four key phases:

  • Explore and Discover

  • Design and experience

  • Deploy and Scale

  • Sustain and Innovate
